New Forest Hire, commenced trading in 1984 from a modest lock up shop at 215 Salisbury Road, Totton.

We soon outgrew this and new premises were a must as the business was soon growing beyond expectations,
and after 2 years a larger shop & yard were purchased close-by at 223 Salisbury Road.

Separate workshop facilities were leased on the local industrial estate and a driver and mechanic were employed.

Hard work and dedication meant that the business continued to grow and more staff were needed, an extra driver, more workshop staff, and finally a hire & sales representative.

New Forest Hire’s management experience and loyal customer base enabled us to expand. In 1996 a second branch was opened in New Milton.

This branch, which we have recently relocated to Gore Road, is well established and continues to offer an excellent service to our customers in the Lymington to Bournemouth area.

In 2002 we relocated the Totton branch to our present site, bring the retail and workshop units under one roof.

The extensive range of stock of both sales and hire equipment coupled with the enormous amount of experience and expertise right through all levels of the staff employed,
means that customers old and new can expect the best service at all times.
